Tranzit coach lines runs to Ashhurst three (3) days a week from the Ashhurst Plunket to the Tranzit bus depot in central Palmerston North, and follows the route below within Ashhurst. Both Newmans Coach Lines and The BayExpress will stop on request, on Napier Road opposite the Allied Petroleum Service Station.

The Ashhurst bus service will not operate on public holidays.
As from 1 April 2009, the Saturday around Ashhurst service will no longer operate, however passengers wishing to travel to Palmerston North can still be picked up from outside the Plunket Rooms.
