On the Right Track

Hi Everyone

Whatever you model, whatever your interests in model railway we have something for you this month.

First of all you can get On the Right Track a new series of Radio programs sponsored by Phillips Models and downloadable on line for your enjoyment.
Click this link we have just completed our second recording and enjoy on your computer or laptop or other device :

On The Right Track will bring you programs and things of interest on line every fortnight now as the demand from the initial program was considerable.  We are seeking ideas for new programs so please make contact with us and we can add artilces on any subject; your layout, your club, upcoming events, kitbuilding skills, modeling, electronics, track layout, your era, period, scale.  This program is being supportted by community radio on air via Coast Access Radio in New Zealand.  If you are from abroad we want to here from you, if you are in New Zealand look up your own Access Radio Station and ask if they will broadcast the program.
The hobby needs encouragement, especially attracting young people to a hobby where they can enjoy learn so much, history, metal work, woodwork, planning, electronics, modeling, wide ranging tools (Tim the Tool Mans Ideal Hobby), computing, photography, and excellent socialisation through model railroad clubs and organisations. Many enthusiasts do much to preserve our railway heritage and history too and this is an excellent foundation for community responsibility and work.
Coast Access Radio has promissed to keep pod casts of all programs to create an ongoing reference archive for modelers and will soon offer Live Strteaming of programs from their web Site.

We thought that later on we would hold some modelling work shops: Local lady with Modelling Skills in building work, soldering, DCC, Electronics, Railway Photography, Video Slides shows etc would be interesting as well and your ideas very welcome.

Would any one be interested in making a planned group for some railway excursions?  We will post information here for you as we get it.

Kind regards,

Adrian Phillips
