Ashhurst Genealogy Group

Genealogy
a record or account of the ancestry and descent of a person, family, group, etc.;
the study of family ancestries and histories.

The Ashhurst Genealogy Group normally meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month, from 10.30am to 12.00pm, at the Ashhurst Library (back room). The next meeting will be at 10.30am on Thursday 21st April 2016.

One of our activities involves looking into the history of Ashhurst township. This helps with research skills and there is plenty of local help available. Any resident who would like to pass on historical stories or photos would be welcome to contact us or give the items to Ross at the Library who will pass the information on at the next meeting of the Genealogy Group.

All those interested in genealogy, or the history of Ashhurst, are welcome to attend our meetings. We would love to see you there.
